About the role

We are seeking a results-driven PPC Executive with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in managing PPC campaigns across Google Ads, Bing Ads, and Paid Social platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimising paid media campaigns, utilising industry analytics platforms, and working closely with the Performance Director to meet business goals and deliver exceptional ROI for our clients.

You’ll play a critical role in the retention and development of our existing clients, whilst supporting with new business pitches and onboarding.

  • Full time, hybrid working role (Tue, Wed, Thu in office) 
  • Glasgow City Centre 
  • £30k + per annum, DOE 
  • 35 hours per week, flexibility across 4 or 5 days to complete those hours
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension and quarterly bonus scheme

Key responsibilities

PPC campaign management:

  • Set up, manage, and optimise PPC campaigns across Google Ads, Bing Ads, and Paid Social platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn Ads)
  • Carry out both reactive and proactive daily/weekly account optimisations, managing client budgets and collaborate on core strategy
  • Monitor campaign performance and make data-driven decisions to enhance ROI
  • Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and bid management
  • Implement and manage retargeting campaigns

Data analysis & reporting:

  • Use industry analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, SEMRush) to track and analyse campaign performance
  • Generate regular reports on KPIs, campaign performance, and insights
  • You will participate in regular weekly/monthly client communications (via email or audio/video conferencing call) to present and update clients on any relevant data sets, findings or innovative processes
  • Proactively identify optimisation opportunities and provide recommendations for improving campaign effectiveness

Collaboration & communication:

  • Work closely with the Performance Director to align campaigns with overall business and client goals
  • Collaborate with the wider marketing team (SEO, Data, Client Services) to ensure consistency in strategies
  • Communicate progress, challenges, and successes to Performance Team colleagues
  • Liaise with Client Service on updates, progress and challenges across multiple client accounts

Qualifications & skills required:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working on multiple brands and PPC campaigns
  • Experienced in managing PPC campaigns across multiple platforms (Google Ads, Bing Ads, Paid Social)
  • Strong knowledge of analytics tools such as Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager and SEMRush
  • Experience with PPC budget management and cost optimisation
  • Understanding of ad copy, landing page optimisation, and conversion tracking
  • Proficient in campaign setup, optimisation, and reporting
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail. • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred:

  • Experience working in an agency environment
  • Google Ads and Bing Ads certifications
  • Familiarity with conversion rate optimisation (CRO) and A/B testing
